Who this policy covers
The platform is used by coaching institutes (“Institutes”) to manage attendance, fees, tests and parent communication, and to give students access to an AI tutor. It covers institute owners and staff, teachers, students and parents whose information an Institute adds to its account, and visitors to this website.
For student, parent and teacher records, the Institute decides what information is entered and why. We process that information on the Institute's behalf and according to its instructions.
Information we handle
Account and institute information
- Name, email address, role and institute name of the person who signs up
- Batch, course, subject and fee plan structure set up by the Institute
- Login details and access roles for staff and teachers
Student records
- Student name, batch, and parent or guardian contact details entered by the Institute
- Attendance marks and fee records, including installments, dues and receipts
- Test responses, marks and the concepts linked to each question
- Doubts asked to the AI tutor, the tutor's responses and revision queue progress
Website enquiries
- Details submitted through the sign up and contact forms, such as name, email, institute name, student strength and current system
How information is used
- Answering student doubts, tagging them to concepts and building personalised revision queues
- Producing test diagnostics and batch dashboards for teachers and owners
- Keeping attendance and fee records and sending reminders the Institute has switched on
- Generating weekly parent updates from the student's own record
- Creating accounts, sending login details and responding to enquiries and support requests
- Keeping the service secure, preventing misuse and improving reliability
We do not sell personal information. We do not use student data for advertising, and we do not share one Institute's data with another Institute.
AI tutor conversations
Doubts and tutor responses are stored in the Institute's account so students can revisit them and teachers can review them. Aggregated patterns, such as how many students in a batch asked about a concept, are shown to that batch's teacher and to the Institute. Conversations may be reviewed in limited, access-controlled ways to check answer quality and safety.
Sharing with service providers
We use carefully chosen providers for hosting, email delivery, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, and AI processing. They receive only the information needed to perform their service and are bound to protect it. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside an Institute's account is role-based, so teachers see only the batches assigned to them. Read more on the Data & Security page.
Retention and export
Institute data is kept for as long as the Institute's account is active. The Institute can export its data at any time. When an account is closed, data is deleted after a reasonable period that allows the Institute to complete its export, except where we must keep certain records by law.
Children's information
Many students are under 18. Institutes are responsible for obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians before adding a student's information. We use student information only to provide the service to the Institute.
Your choices and rights
Students and parents should contact their Institute to access, correct or delete their records, as the Institute controls that data. We will support the Institute in responding. Website visitors and account holders can reach us through the contact page for any privacy request.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as a session cookie that supports the form verification check. We do not use advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and notify Institutes with active accounts by email.
